24 Acoustics has acted as acoustic consultants to Associated British Ports at the Port of Southampton for over a decade. Our role has involved environmental noise impact assessment of new developments, including multi-deck car storage buildings, new berths, container handling and dredging activities. We’ve also been involved in long-term noise and vibration monitoring of construction and demolition activities within the port and have undertaken noise control investigation in response to complaints from local residents.
