24 Acoustics was retained by Carmarthenshire County Council to independently assess the noise impact from the operation of a wind turbine operating in the borough. Local residents were disturbed by the noise from the turbine and a noise abatement notice in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act, 1990 had been served.
The turbine operator appealed the notice and 24 Acoustics’ director, Reuben Peckham, acted as an expert witness, giving evidence at the Court hearing.
