Corporal VS was exposed to excessive levels of noise from gunfire and artillery during an Army firepower demonstration. This resulted in personal injury including loss of hearing, loss of balance and tinnitus.
24 Acoustics acted on behalf of Corporal VS and provided an estimate of the magnitude of the noise levels that he would have been exposed to and worked in conjunction with medical colleagues to determine whether, on the balance of probabilities, the noise that he was exposed to at the firepower event was the cause of his injuries. 24 Acoustics’ director, Reuben Peckham, provided a detailed technical report for the Court.
